Project Submersible

Project Submersible

Each year, the MATE ROV competition challenges students to build an ROV to tackle tasks based on the real world. From simulating missions to explore Jupiter’s moon Europa to diving on hydrothermal vents and determining the identification of an unknown shipwreck, the MATE ROV competition allows students from college and university students down to elementary students to build an ROV with a specific goal in mind.

Project Submersible aims to build a competitive ROV to compete in the MATE ROV competition. The team is currently in the design phase of the project, with the goal of having a working prototype by the end of the 2021-2022 school year. The team is currently looking for new members to join the team and help with the design and construction of the ROV.
